Shane Warne picks Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest batsman of his ear. During a live Instagram session the former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne picked Sachin and Brian Lara as the greatest batsman of his era.

Former Australian leggie- Shane Warne scalped 708 test wickets in 145 test matches only behind the Spin Wizzard Muttiah Muralitharan.

Muttiah Murlidharan scalped 800 test wickets in 133 matches.

Asked by a fan who was the best batman in his era? Warne replied, ‘There were these two guys ( Sachin, Lara), then there was daylight after that, the rest of the batsman came.’

Shane Warne also chooses Sachin as his all condition best player and went on to say, Brain Lara as an aggressive batsman for chasing giants total.

“If I’ve to choose any batsman to bat at any conditions, It’s a real toss-up between Sachin and Lara, but I would just choose Tendulkar.” Warne said in his live Instagram sessions.

“if we have to chase 400 runs on last day, I would definitely pick Lara.” Warne added.
