Irfan Pathan talks about MS Dhoni’s future after the fate of IPL uncertain. Former Indian Cricket all-rounder Irfan Pathan has something to say about the future of former Indian World Cup Winning Captain MS Dhoni.
IPL ( Indian Premier League) which was supposed earlier to take place from March 29 but amidst the concern of global pandemic, coronavirus, IPL was postponed to a new date i.e, April 15.
With each passing day, the chances of IPL to happen is very thin. Thus it creating chaos about MS Dhoni’s future among the cricket fans and in the cricket experts.
Dhoni was supposed to play in the cash-rich league, he would represent Chennai Super Kings as a captain. Dhoni will play definitely if IPL would happen this year.
Playing in this year’s IPL is Dhoni’s ticket to World Cup T20I, that is all supposed.
But if IPL got canceled this year then what about Dhoni! former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has different views about this matter.
In an interview, Pathan told New Indian Express,
“He obviously needs to play. If he does he should for India. He is the most amazing cricketer we have. He has been fantastic for the country.” Pathan said.
“He has given so much to the world of cricket. But if he just drafted in it, will it be fair to those people who have been playing regularly is an important question.” Pathan added.

“KL Rahul and Risabh Pant have been consistently for a year. So this question need to be answered by the Board.” Pathan told New Indian Express.

As you know that the Indian Government declared a Lockdown to curb the novel coronavirus. Earlier this month, Sports Ministry advised all the sports lobby, including BCCI that no public gathering in any sports event.
So after consulting the situation, BCCI postponed the IPL for 15 days. The new schedule of the IPL is yet to be announced by BCCI.
There are over a thousand people to be affected by COVID-19 in India as per reports, and 23+ reported to death.
