PSL resumes after a hiatus long eight months breaks, COVID-19 earlier halted the proceeding of the PSL. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) successfully created a bio-bubble atmosphere to resume the last leg of the PSL.
Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans in the second qualifier to enter the final of PSL. Karachi Kings already entered in the final, as they defeated Multan Sultans in the first qualifier of the PSL. Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings have entered into the final of the PSL for the very first time, so that means Karachi or Qalandars is going to win the PSL trophy for the first time.

Haris Rauf brilliantly bowled a four-over spell in the second qualifier of the PSL. Rauf picked three wickets in the match including the danger man Shahid Afridi on a duck.
Shahid Afridi came out to bat after the departure of Rilee Ross in the 14th over of the second inning. Haris Rauf running fast and bowled a perfect inswinging yorker at speed 145 that proved too good to handle for the danger man Shahid Afridi. David Wiese all-round performance helps Lahore Qalandars to enter the final of PSL:
David Wiese put up a sensational all-round performance for his team, Lahore Qalandars. Lahore Qalandars got a good start in the powerplay. Tamim Iqbal and Fakhar Zaman batted brilliantly in the powerplay, after the powerplay Lahore Qalandars scored 54-2. But as the inning progress, Lahore Qalandars lost the plot.
David Wiese came out to bat after the departure of Ben Dunk. David Wiese (48 runs on 21 balls) provided some late blitz at the end of the inning to power Lahore Qalandars to a good score (182-6).
Multan Sultans started their inning on a positive note scoring 63 runs in the powerplay. After the powerplay, they lost the run chase. Haris Rauf and David Wiese bowled beautifully and shared 6 wickets in between.
Lahore Qalandars won the match by 25 runs and enter the final of the PSL for the very first time. Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars will meet in the final of the PSL, which is on November 17.
