Aakash Chopra is quite vocal on cricketing issues nowadays. Former Cricketer stated, “Look if the team (India)wants him to play, all know that will happen. But if this year’s IPL doesn’t take place, T20 World Cup also not going to happen this year too. Of course, he (Dhoni) will be a year older thus Dhoni out for the 18 months, you can assume you might not see to Dhoni play it again( for India).”

Aakash Chopra doesn’t see T20 World Cup happen as per schedule then IPL can happen in this window. Chopra also believes that if any chance IPL can take place behind closed door then it must happen.

“It is a long shot to go because we don’t know how the world is going to operate. COVID-19 pandemic has a developing story. For the tournament like IPL, you’ve to ensure player’s security. It’s really complicated to have IPL behind the closed doors but I think its better to have the tournament without any spectators than not having at all.” Aakash Chopra stated.
