“If I am 100% as good as I want to be, then I will be available. But if I am not, I won’t open myself up to that because I am not the type of person who does things at 80%.” De Villiers added.

De Villiers often criticized by the media and the public for the perception he was taking and choosing when he wants to play. About asking on this issue De Villiers said that in the past I got hurt and burned.

“I Can’t walk into the team. Like every other player, I’ve to work for my place and deserve it.” De Villiers said.
